Melissa the stage of last friday at Palacavicchi was amazing! Its so hard to me to find a good dancer and teacher of mambo on 2 to learn from, and so your stage was precious to learn new things and focus on important details! by the way, i LOVE the way you teach! :) I will surely practice, waiting for your next stage! :) And you know my boyfr loved dancing w you? :) thanks for everything!!

Conocimos a Melissa (ella ni se acordará), en el estudio de Eddie Torres, siendo ella una adolescente, junto a Nadia Torres. Es un honor haber seguido el crecimiento artístico de esta sensual y elegante bailadora. Humilde, bella por dentro y alegre como no más. Mi respeto y mi admiración por Vd. Graças ao 1º Congresso Internacional de Salsa do Rio de Janeiro em julho de 2010, eu tive a oportunidade de conhecer e ser instruído pela Melisa que se tornou a minha inspiração para continuar aprendendo e dançando a salsa. Estou completamente apaixonado pelo Chacha porque não sabia que é um ritmo inspirador e facinante. I think Melissa is great. She is able to "break-down" her styling techniques in a way that is very easy for us beginners to absorb. Having the DVD is the next best thing to having Melissa in person. Her DVD is great for anyone starting out to advance dancers who want to polish their skills. I can't wait for the next one.

Your styling DVD is the best I have seen yet, In the pass I bought a few from others and they don’t even come close. Your DVD was amazing, it explained step by step how to do the styling moves and made it very easy for me to learn from it… I have recommended to a few of the girls in our salsa school and also our teacher Marcus Nieves encourage us to buy your DVD that it would help. I know how to do the body roll and hair whip thanks to your DVD. Your dvd was very easy to understand. You also have a section with bonus steps… I wish you have a another DVD to explain those steps like the tootsie roll and Cuban roll and the traveling basic… Hopefully one day you will decide to do another one. Eres la mas maravillosa profesora,y bailarina y los mas bello de ti es tu sencilles tu espontaneidad, tu simpatia,tu naturalidad y tu modestia siendo una estrella en el mundo de la salsa. cada uno de tus movimientos trasmiten toda la pasion y el amor que sientes por la danza. tu espectaculo en montreaux suiza fue perfecto bello espectacular no hay palabras para describirlo y el curso de cha cha cha genial.

Melissa, I wanted to mention that I tried different styling classes and I have to say that I did not find any better than yours. Details, breakdowns, style so smoooooth!!! (lots of different things on simple partnerwork... CBL variations... Turns... Waltz turn (you might not call it like that, but anyway)... Copa...) Your explanations are really detailled and the way you manage the class (even give us time to record) brings us "lady dancers" a lot: from the basic step that you break down to more sophisticated moves where you mix all parts of the body... And then you give us combos but it doesn't take all the time of the workshop (and that's good!!!), just some more additional material to bring home! It's always an excellent enriching experience to come to the workshops... So Thanks...

I have had the pleasure of knowing Melissa since the age of 13. We used to live and breathe dancing and I knew that she would make a career out of what she loves.
